Saiyid Maurez Damb

It is also called Mandi Haji Sayed Maurez. It is located near Mande-Haji Hamlet in Khalidabad taluka and Manguchar area in Kalat district. Stein collected different types and of different period potshards from this site ranging from prehistoric to protohistoric times. B. de Cardi reported flakes of chert, two alabaster bowl fragments and clay box, while Ali reported animal tooth and a leg of a figurine from the site. The potshards belong to Londo; Quetta; Amri-Nal; Kechi Beg and Togau assemblages.
