The site is located near Salu Hamlet, The French Archaeological Mission headed by Besenval explored the site. The site was first mentioned by Stein. A modern grave was found on the site. Houses built of clay were also noticed, while potshards of Anjira, Nal and Kechi Beg assemblages were found from the site.
