Ambardaran Temple

This temple is also known as the Lal Haveli mandir, situated adjacent to Lal Haveli but unfortunately is abandoned by Hindus. Original construction of the temple has been altered with the residential area added on top of the garbhagriha square compound. Surrounding of the garbhagriha has also been altered with an open Indian toilet attached to its corner. The path of stairs leading up to the sanctum is dark without any light. It appears the ceiling and most of the walls around the garbhagriha have been a result of a later period making the place enclosed and weak in ventilation with Jharoka windows on one side of the room. There is proof of defacement of the figures on the custom-made tile work. Exterior wall of the garbhagriha is tiled, interior of the sanctum is intact with art work on the tiles, mostly defaced or abused by pasting of political posters.
