An archaeological site of Mane Tangai is about 5 km north of Nian-barangola and 10 km from Chakdara museum, preserving one of the most important groups of Buddhist carving on boulders. These rock carvings depict Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, (including Padmapani and Ganesha).
